Hey guys. Today's post is a Christmas gift guide featuring products from Lush's Christmas Collection! I have to say Lush blog posts are my favourite to do, I love everything about their company. Not only do they have the best bath and skincare products, I've never had a bad experience in a Lush store! The staff are always friendly and are there to help with picking the right products for all your needs. There’s going to be lots of photos in this post as I can’t help but photograph their gorgeous products, so beware! In this gift guide I will give a few short reviews on the products. This guide will have great stocking fillers and presents for anyone and everyone in your life, be it; your partner, your parents, your child or a friend!
This is the Luxury Lush Pad bath bomb wrapped in a festive reusable knot wrap. The Luxury Lush Pad bath bomb has the exact same smell as the Twilight bath bomb, so if you or someone you know loves the calming smell of Twilight (lavender oil and tonka absolute) then this gift is perfect for them. The Luxury Lush Pad looks beautiful with all the different pastel coloured circles on it and the tiny little dissolvable mistletoe on the top! Because this bath bomb looked so good I was sooo excited to use it but was slightly disappointed by the outcome. Yes it had an amazing smell, looked beautiful on the outside but when I dropped it into the bath it didn’t do much. There was a little fizzling and colour changing but not a lot. I'm guessing that happened because my bath bomb wasn’t the freshest and had crumbled slightly. However after it had fizzled out, I was left with a specular pastel orange bath with shimmery glitter all through it (see pictures). This bath bomb would be fun for a child, they can enjoy the pastel and shimmery bath and the lavender oil will help soothe them to sleep. The knot wrap has a cute pattern and will be good to wrap my other bath bombs with although I can't really see me using it for anything else.
Another popular product of Lush; the lip scrub. I got Santa Baby, which is a cola flavoured one and let me tell you, it tastes just like the coke bottles candy — which I'm not typically a fan of but I've almost used all this lip scrub just from eating it. It tastes that good! This scrub is made with caster sugar so that’s the little beads you feel when rubbing this on your lips, exfoliating them. Once you’ve rubbed the product onto your lips you lick off the excess — tastes so yummy even though you’re pretty much eating the dead skin from your lips. This product really does work to exfoliate your lips when they're chapped. I’m not even done with this product and I already want to go by more lip scrubs as backups! Santa Baby lip scrub is only in stores for the Christmas season so be sure to grab it before it's no longer available! If you can’t get your hands on this particular lip scrub, I would recommend Sugar Plum Fairy (which is also limited edition) or Bubblegum as a good replacement option.
First up, if you’re thinking you can lick this after putting it on your lips and it’ll taste good like the lip scrubs, well you’d be wrong… It doesn’t taste very nice at all. Learn from my mistakes people!! Other than that I can say this lip tint will leave your lips feeling extremely moisturised especially if you apply it right after using a lip scrub.
I expected a purple colour from this lip tint but the colour came out more so pink which confused me as the packaging is purple. Maybe it's just my skin tone doing that. It's a nice product and it does what it's supposed to do. But it's just not for me, mainly because I'm not the biggest fan of tinted lip balms.
The ultimate but budget friendly bath bomb pack! I bought 2 of these packs; one for my friends christmas present and another for myself. This pack had so many good bath bombs in it and there was only 2 left, so natural I had to get myself one as well.
I haven’t used any bath bombs in this set yet but I'm excited to use them all! It comes with 4 bath bombs; Golden Wonder, Lord of Misrule, So White and Shoot for the Stars.
Golden Wonder really is a wonder from the demos I've seen. It has a surprise in the middle after dropping this bomb into the bath.
Lord of Misrule is probably the one I'm most excited about. It’s a Halloween bath bomb (meaning its only available around Halloween, and in Christmas packs so it seems) and is a huge favourite of many fellow ‘Lushies’.
So White has a crisp fruity smell and I thought it looked boring. But again that was before I had seen a demo thus proving me wrong.
Shoot for the Stars is a beautiful looking bath bomb. A vibrant bright blue with gold stars, it leaves your bath looking just like the bath bomb, only better!
If you know someone who loves Lush then this gift pack is the ultimate Christmas present for them.
Annnd that's the end of my Christmas gift guide! If you're having a hard time deciding on a present for someone you love, then seriously consider Lush. You honestly can't go wrong with buying someone a present from there, they have products for everyone!
