Today I wanted to show my crystal/gem/rock - whatever you want to call it, collection.
I only started collecting crystals a few years ago and still haven't amounted as many as I would like, incase you couldn't tell. I have always admired crystals and gems, even the mining process and finding them. I would love to do something like that and find my own gems.
I'm a very indecisive shopper so it may come to no one's surprise that it takes me awhile to decide on a few crystals without going over budget. I really do feel attracted to certain crystals and can't put them down and leave without them. I've taken a photo of all of my gems together and then showcased a few of my favourites.
A few of my favourites include; one i gave to my grandma when she was sick and have held onto since her passing, one from my boyfriend and ones that just stand out to me.
Labradorite - This has to be my all time favourite types of crystal! There's so many different shades of green and blue in Labradorite that come out in different lightening. Its mesmerising to watch.
Opal Aura - The tumble stone I gave my gram. This small stone gives off some amazing rainbows, it's an ever changing show.
Calcite w/ Amethyst (I've forgotten what stone this is, if anyone knows, please educate me!) - This is the stone my boyfriend got me, we found it at a small pop up shop, 'Trip 2 Earth'.
After talking to the shop keep it turns out he mines them all himself. They're all very reasonably priced too. I loved the cubic matrix thing going on with this gem.
Abalone Shell - Found from the same shop as above. This shell was so unique and stood out to me so much, I had to buy.
Geode - So shiny, every girl likes shiny things, right? This Geode can be put back together again so it looks like a rock again. My nieces love putting it back together like it's some sort of puzzle piece.
Rutilated Quartz - This small tumble stone was like $2 which i think pocket change is a steal for stones like these.
Carborundum - This gem is actually a lab growth, but I get so many compliments on it that I had to include it!
And that is my Gem collection! Leave a comment on what crystal is your favourite! & If you have your own collection be sure to show me, I would love to see them!
